Welcome to the companion wiki for the Civic Learning Project. This is a living knowledge base for information about the research, policies and practitioners in the civic learning space, as described by the Red and Blue Works white paper and systems map.

This wiki has been designed from the ground up to encourage and support collaboration. It's structured so that the basic information is the focus, with the connections between items made obvious and easy to navigate. You can return to this home page anytime by clicking the Red and Blue Works logo (top left of the screen).

If you need an overview, "Getting Started," below, outlines the data architecture and the powerful plain language drilldown filtering available for each of the three main topic areas.

You also have the option to edit or add to the data as you see fit. The menu to the left will always have you one click away from either browsing or adding content.Your collaboration will help ensure that this wiki grows from being the basis of our white paper, into a comprehensive, accurate, and up to date representation of the state of this space. You'll find the pages easy to edit—it's a self-guided process.

Before you start editing, please create an account (up there on the top right). That will allow you to keep track of your contributions via the "Contributions" link (also at top right). (If you're new to wiki editing, see the User's Guide for pointers.)

Finally, you can export the latest data from this wiki anytime in a timestamped CSV file, which you can import into any software you like.

Please feel free to look, learn, and contribute. We're delighted you're here, and we look forward to working with you to build this space!
